I found this old broken country school house as I drove across Ohio from one shuttered smokestack to another.
Not sure if It is lost or if I was.
Even in disrepair slate rooves (yes that is the correct spelling) there is something very elegant about them.
Someone broke the poor school house’s back.
Spring is here. I wonder how long these flowers have been growing here. Did the students plant them 80 years ago. I like to think they did. They lead down a path from the street right to the door.
At first I thought it said “I heart books". Upon closer insepction I was wrong.
To me what is ironic is that in it’s day kids probably didn’t want to go to school but after a building is empty it attracts all kinds of kids.
